WHY THIS EXISTS

AI images get generated by the thousand, used once, and thrown away. That's real compute — real energy — down the drain. Our tools produce images every day as a byproduct, so instead of letting them rot on a disk, we describe them, tag them, and hand them to you free.

The library grows nightly on its own, nobody pays anything, and every download is one less image somebody had to burn GPU time regenerating. Recycling, but make it pixels.

Fair warning: this is AI stock. Some images come out gallery-good. Some come out gloriously weird. We publish both — the weird ones are half the fun, and usually one generative-fill pass from perfect.

EDIT THEM. SERIOUSLY.

Stock photos of real people and places are frozen — you get what the camera got. AI images are different: generative fill and AI editing tools will happily swap a person, replace a product, extend a sky, or clean up an anomaly in minutes. What you download here is raw material, not a final answer.

Open one in Photoshop, select the thing you don't like, and type what you want instead. That's genuinely the whole trick. Guides are coming.

THE LICENSE, IN HUMAN WORDS

Free for commercial and personal use. Edit them, crop them, put them on things you sell. Credit appreciated, never required.

Don't: resell or redistribute the library itself as a collection, claim you generated them, or use them to imply a brand or real venue endorses anything. Every image is AI-generated — any resemblance to a real place or person is coincidental.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK

Are these actually free?

Yes. Free for commercial and personal projects. No account, no attribution requirement, no premium tier waiting to ambush you.

Do I need to credit WTFStock?

No. A link back helps other people find the library, but it's never required.

Are they really all AI-generated?

Every single one. We say it out loud instead of hiding it — that's kind of the point of the site.

Do any images show real places or people?

No. Nothing here depicts an actual venue, brand, or person. If something resembles one, that's coincidence, and we remove images that get too close.

How often do new images show up?

The library syncs nightly from our generation pipeline. New images, every single day.

Can I edit these?

Please do. That's the whole idea — swap subjects, fix details, restyle scenes. They're starting points, not final answers.
